    • Universal J1772 / NACS Level 2 chargers (ChargePoint, Wallbox, Emporia, etc.)
    • Dedicated 240V / 50A circuits
    • NEMA 14-50 outlet installation for portable EVSEs
    • Sub-panel additions when main panel is full
    • Outdoor weatherproof installs
    • Multi-charger setups for two-EV households
    • Coordination with HOA and condo boards

How EV Charger Install Pricing Actually Works

Most EV charger installs come down to three things: how far the charger is from your panel, whether your panel has capacity for a 40A or 50A circuit, and whether the run is fished through finished walls or surface-mounted in conduit. A short attached-garage install with panel space can be a few hundred dollars; a long detached-garage run with a panel upgrade is a different conversation.

We'll give you a flat written quote after a quick site visit — no 'starting at' pricing.

Hardwired Wall Connectors vs. NEMA 14-50 Outlets

Tesla Wall Connectors and most premium Level 2 units (Wallbox Pulsar, ChargePoint Home Flex) are hardwired and pull up to 48A continuous — meaning a 60A breaker. Plug-in chargers using a NEMA 14-50 are limited to 40A continuous (50A breaker).

If you charge daily and want the fastest home charging, hardwired is the answer. If you might move the charger or want to use a portable EVSE, the NEMA 14-50 outlet is the flexible choice.

What If My Panel Doesn't Have Room?

Common situation. Options: a load-shedding device (DCC-9, NeoCharge) that intelligently sheds load to free panel capacity, a sub-panel addition, or a full 200-amp heavy-up. We'll walk you through trade-offs and price each option.

    Permits, Inspections & Insurance

Every EV circuit we install gets a permit and final county inspection. That matters: many insurers now ask whether EV charging equipment was professionally installed and inspected. Self-installed or unpermitted EV circuits can void claims if there's ever a fire.
