How long does install take?

Most whole-home standby installs are 1–2 days of electrical work, plus a separate gas hookup and a county inspection.

Will the generator run my whole house?

Depends on the size. A 22 kW unit will run most 2,000–3,000 sq ft homes including A/C. Smaller units use a sub-panel for essentials only.
